My name is Daniel Suarez Lopez, and I am a pianist, singer, dancer, actor, and composer. From a very young age, music has woven itself into the fabric of my life. It all began with my parents, who were active members of a folk music group. Their passion for music resonated within the walls of our home, creating an atmosphere that nurtured my own artistic inclinations. Growing up, I found myself captivated by the sounds and melodies surrounding me, and I eagerly tried to emulate my older brothers, who played various instruments. My earliest attempts at singing and strumming the guitar were humble yet driven by an insatiable curiosity for music.
However, it wasn’t until I stumbled upon an old organ tucked away in the storage room that my true musical journey began. As I pressed down on the keys and immersed myself in the mesmerizing sounds, I felt an indescribable connection to the instrument. The organ became my gateway to a world of melodies, harmonies, and creative expression. Fueled by this newfound passion, I embarked on formal piano lessons, honing my skills and delving deeper into the vast realm of musical possibilities. Simultaneously, my fascination with the performing arts led me to explore the world of theater, where I discovered the magic of storytelling through acting, singing, and dance. This fusion of music and theater ignited a fire within me, propelling me further into the realms of artistic exploration and self-discovery.
A Musical Beginning

Pursuing Musical Theater and Higher Education
After several years of immersing myself in piano lessons and theatrical endeavors, I stumbled upon a project that would forever change the course of my artistic pursuits – musical theater. The allure of storytelling through song and dance captivated me, and I wholeheartedly embraced this newfound interest. Fueling my passion further, I became an integral part of a choir while still residing in Tenerife, honing my vocal skills and immersing myself in the world of harmonies and choral dynamics.
Driven by my dedication to music, I decided to pursue further education and enrolled in the conservatory. The years spent there deepened my understanding of music theory, composition, and performance, equipping me with invaluable knowledge and skills. However, my thirst for growth led me to embark on a new chapter in my artistic journey. I was accepted into the prestigious Highlands and Islands University in Perth, where I currently reside and continue to expand my horizons as a musician.
